Short: Checks variable folder for new mail Author: marc_albrecht@act.ohz.north.de Uploader: wenzel unixserv rz fh-hannover de Type: comm/uucp Version: 1.0 Architecture: m68k-amigaos Long: [C]heck[M]ail[F]older keeps an index file of all mail folders you frequently check. The index is updated for each folder every time the folder is checked - the folder itself remains UNTOUCHED of course. You can optionally specify another index-name. If you do not specify an ExeString a simple text will be the output of CMF, prompting you whether new mail has arrived in that folder or not. If you do specify an ExeString that string (rest of commandline to CMF) will be executed. That way CMF works well in conjunction with LogWin (by the same author, also on AmiNet) by simply calling NotifyWin. Another use is to keep track on directories. This way my LogWin even prompts me if I got new Fido Mail in my NetMail-Directory :-) FreeWare.
