Short: transfers files between Amiga & PC Author: ralf@boomerangsworld.de Uploader: ralf boomerangsworld de Type: comm/misc Version: 3.1.0 Requires: OS >1.0 for nongui, OS 2.0 + reqtools.library V38 for GUI Architecture: m68k-amigaos This is APCComm 3.1.0, a program for transferring files between Amiga and PC running GNU/Linux using a parallel LapLink cable or a serial null modem cable. It's distributed under GNU General Public License and comes with full source- code for the PC and Amiga. It's fast (up to 38 KByte/s) and can also transfer whole directories. Since version 2.4.0 it can also read and write ADF disk images. The amiga version has a GUI and no configuration is required. For the GUI version (which is the default one) you need OS 2.0 and the reqtools.library V38, but there is a version without GUI which runs on any OS >1.0. Changes: - improved throughput of serial transfer by up to 50%. - improved transfer cancellation by handling Ctrl-c in Linux and Amiga program without GUI. - device and speed settings can now be stored in config files. In linux the config file is stored in ~/.config/apccomm or ~/.apccomm, while on the Amiga ENV variables are used (OS >= 2 only).
