Short: Fixes an annoying bug in Zappo CD drive Author: cmsdloma@livjm.ac.uk Uploader: cmsdloma livjm ac uk Type: disk/cdrom Architecture: m68k-amigaos In earlier versions of the Zappo CD-ROM drive units, not only was the software absolutely awful, bordering on a nightmare, but the units themselves seem to have an inbuilt fault. Or is it the controller? Anyway.... if you bought one of these units, and are regretting it because the thing sticks 1m 15s in when you play track 1 of a CD, then this if for you! Alternatively... if you have a Zappo drive, but don't know what the heck I'm on about, then you probably have the later model, which actually worked. So just tell me to shut up... and move onto the next .readme. **IMPORTANT** IF YOU ARE DOWNLOADING THIS, AND EXTRACTING THE ARCHIVE, YOU MUST EXTRACT WITH THE RESTORED PROTECTION BITS.. IT IS IMPORTANT. USE THE -a OPTION ON 'LHA' TO DO THIS. EG: Lha -a x FixZappo.lha MyDir/ -- Dave /// __ /// \\X// AMIGA - There Can Be Only One (I REALLY HATE PC's!)
