Short: RAD disk manager with a GUI. V0.9 Author: agraham@cs.strath.ac.uk (Alan Graham) Uploader: agraham cs strath ac uk (Alan Graham) Type: util/disk Version: 0.9 Requires: WB2.04, 1Mb Chip RAM, some standard WB files. Architecture: m68k-amigaos Radman is an attractive interface for "Rad" devices. It allows you to simulate almost any (useful) size of disk, up to 4mb in size. The virtual disks it creates are reset-proof, and may be booted. It is programmed in Blitz Basic. You can use Radman to do a number of things to a Rad disk: - Define its size - Define its buffer - Define its unit number - Mount the disk immediately - Write the disk definitions to a self-mounting file - Remove the disk and claim back lost memory - Alter the name of the mounted disk etc... Radman is freeware - please read the AmigaGuide for precise copyright information. At the moment, Radman requires a few Workbench files. It looks for them in their *normal* places (such as C:Delete, etc.) so there should not be a problem. This is my first Aminet release, and I am fairly new to Blitz Basic. If you are proficient in this language, why not help me out and E-Mail me. I am having problems utilitising libraries and using some commands. I have many great ideas, and would like to group together with other like minded people to produce good, useful software (I am happy to try games, utilities, anything). Please send bug reports, help, praise or *constructive* criticism to: Alan Graham P.O. Box 8353 Largs Ayrshire KA30 8HG or E-Mail: agraham@cs.strath.ac.uk with "Radman" in the Subject field.
