About this Mini-issue's articles:
 Well, we've still no firm news on the fate of the Amiga and VIScorp.
However, there were some fascinating items on the net today. A couple
indicate that VIScorp may not be the only company interested in buying
Amiga Technologies. There's also Eagle computer, currently making Amiga
clones with actual AT produced mother boards. (See issue 960517 for more
information on Eagle.) We consider these rumors, but interesting.
 We also came across a notice of a patch to IBrowse which we thought we'd
throw in today. Actually, we're using the patch at "Amiga Update" and it
definitely makes IBrowse a more usable program. 
 Interesting information today we didn't want to sit on, so you get a
special mini-issue. We're always thinking of you.

I pulled this off Club Byte's (Amiga Dealer in Spain) this little news
item:

NOTICIAS - 26 / 09 / 96 
      - El juez instructor encargado de la compra de
      Amiga Technologies, ha anunciado que como
   Viscorp no liquide el importe restante antes del dia
                30 de Septiembre, la compra pasara a manos de los
                   segundos interesados. Eagle Computer & Co. 


Basically it is stating that on September 26th, the judge in charge of
the liquidation has given VIScorp until September 30th to close the deal
or the rights to purchase the Amiga do to Eagle Computers of Germany.  

Now isn't this something else.   Any confirmations on this?

: OK.  Spoke with VIScorp today.  The word is that Oct 1 is the current

Hope so.. Just thinking back over the past couple of months;

"Viscorp buys the Amiga!"... JOY!
"Viscorp finalizes deal by mid July"... Yippee!
oops,
"Viscorp finalizes deal by mid August"... hmmmm..
"Viscorp finalizes deal by October 1st"... Yawn!

("Viscorp promises to have the deal done by October 31st"...?? etc etc)

I'm not losing hope that Viscorp can get some nice nifty Super Amiga's onto
the street.. I'm just worried about WHEN!

I guess if there isnt a new, FAST CHEAPER Amiga by then end of the year,
its off to the world of UAE :(

I'm using it people, it fixes the many bugs in 1.00 and now I am
for the first time enjoying IB as it should have been from start.
All other IB (commercial) users go there and get it!!
