Short: Generates random Conspiracy theories Author: scott@crewerw.demon.co.uk (Scott Allan) Uploader: scott crewerw demon co uk (Scott Allan) Type: text/misc Architecture: m68k-amigaos CONSPIRACY v1.0 February 1997 ============================= (c) S.Allan 2/98 =============== So. What is it? It's a small program that produces random gibberish... erm, conspiracies. That's it. Honest. There is no hidden agenda. The truth ain't in here. Really. So. How does it work? Simple. enter the command: ASSIGN CONSPIRACY: : e.g if the volume (disk) is called foo and the text files are in the directory, text, in the top level of the foo disk then the command is: ASSIGN CONSPIRACY: foo:text Type CONSPIRACY on the CLI or double click the CONSPIRACY icon. So. Why is it? 'Cos it seemed like a good idea at the time. So. How much is the full version? What?? You really want more of this crap? O.K. ######################################### ### This product is grassy-knoll-ware ### ######################################### This means that if you want the latest text files and updates to the program then send me as many entries for each text file on disk as you can be bothered to think up.. The idea is to create the biggest, most unmanageable files possible. If you have any ideas for new additions to the program then let me know. If you find any bugs then *please* let me know. So. Who are you? ###################################################################### ############## Scott D. Who did you rip most of the code from then? The original idea for this came from a fortune program written by S.Hawtin on the NORTHC examples disk and the conspiracy theory generator in the summer 1996 edition of Alien Encounters(tm) magazine. It's compiled using NORTHC. Suggestion : Try sticking the output through jive or valspeak, it makes the output almost worth reading... You can get both these progs. (by Adams Douglas) from aminet (text/misc). P.S. This program may be freely distributed as long as all the text files are included. P.P.S. Thanks to J. Lighterness for the loan of his "factoid book", The Big Book Of Conspiracies. ("Everything you know is wrong") (c) PARADOX PRESS, N.Y. P.P.P.S. If you've read this far -- then you've spent more time on it than I have. SDA 7/2/98, 14:30 in the P of M.
