Short: Copies all from serial to parallel Author: bitti@cs.tut.fi (Matti Rintala) Uploader: bitti cs tut fi (Matti Rintala) Type: util/misc Architecture: m68k-amigaos SERPAR 1.00 by Matti Rintala Introduction I have two Amigas, an old A2000 and A4000/040. I have only one printer, which is connected to the A4000. Sometimes it would be nice to print something from the A2000 also. I already have an RS232 wire between the machines, but I really didn't want to put up another cable for the printer. This is where I made SerPar. SerPar is a program which simply opens a small window and then copies everything from the serial port to the parallel port. When its window is closed, it quits. This way I can set A2000 to print everything to the serial port and redirect the output to the printer on my A4000. Requirements SerPar requires at least AmigaOS 2.0 to run (sorry 1.3 owners, but I _really_ consider 1.3 to be obsolete).
