• Replaced the URATE variance approximation and fixed boundary coefficients with the revised design-corrected Gaussian reference and optimized calibration.
• Preserved URATE(D, tau, Y) and its rate and sd fields; added confidence levels, simulation controls, upper and two-sided bands, and endpoint contrasts.
• Scores now receive random ordering only within exact ties. Seeded inference restores the caller’s random-number state.
• Summary and plot methods use the same calibrated bounds. Selected-subgroup summaries include subgroup sizes and omit unadjusted pointwise p-values.
