What a great Egg!  I like the textures you have come up with, but I think I would have used a smaller scale for them.  The image makes the Egg to appear quite large, but the marble texture suggests that the egg is small.  In addition I would have liked to have seen some ceiling tiles and/or light fixtures on the ceiling.

My only major comment is that I would have preferred to have viewed the object 
from a different camera angle. I can see hints of what you'd done on the top of
the egg, but would have loved to have seen it in the full.

Wonderful in every respect.  Good render.  I think it could have had a better backdrop and a better texture on the bow, but, it is still a very nice job.  It is good to see a few original ideas here.
