Is it just me, or does that countertop extend really far back?

From witoslaw@kki.net.pl:
The scene is generally nice, but the tea is TOO RED. Looks like HOT BLOOD!!!

=====
From jerry@hoboes.com:
Good job all around! Your tiles and wood might be a bit too reflective. The
handle looks awfully big compared to the teakettle--like it's going to make
it too topheavy. But still a nice scene, and the steam was a good touch.
(Especially since it brings it on topic :*)

Wonderfully un-PC checker pattern!
The reflectivity of the tiles on the wall isn't quite right.

From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de:
The kettle is quite nice, as is the steam. but I think the handle is bent too
far forward and a bit too big.
There is something wrong with the refraction of the glasses, they look as if
they consisted of a solid block. Look through a clean glass in reality, it ony
distorts the background near the edges.

From johnson@pharmacy.arizona.edu:
To many busy and bold texture make this scene clash. Need a more subtle touch.

From jaime@ctav.es:
Nice. Perhaps it shows too evidently the lack of scenery behind the camera.
What about a simple big image map of a room scene behind? (To not really
have the "invisible" objects on the scene). Very good halos too (a pain that
sintax changed in version 3.1 ;)

From Varyk@aol.com:
I'm not really sure what's happening with the red liquid in the glasses. =
Are they made with highly refractive material? Somehow, I feel that if =
they were that reflective they wouldn't be that refractive, that one or t=
he other needs to be reduced.

From arcana@sinbad.net:
Ahh, the bane of reflective surfaces: Where is the rest of the
kitchen/room the scene is set within? All I see in the reflections is an
infinite checkered surface. However, this is still a great looking shot.
Nice work on the kettle. :{)

From gmccarter@hotmail.com:
Good effort. A few more objects in the background (such as tables, chairs, doors, windows) would give better reflections in the teakettle surface.

From jesse@kesmai.com:
The steam halos are quite good.

Very nice picture, although most heat-resistant glasses are non-transparent.
Notable for lighting, textures
