The intricate design of the engine seems to me to suffer from fairly bland colors and textures.  Next to the bridge, the plain yellow of the train looks flat.

A little bit too much ambient light. Yellow on vehicle doesn't look right, looks too clean. Scale on bricks and flatness not quite right.

Mostly nice modelling, but the textturing is very flat and featureless.
Especially the cars are all flat yellow, without any wood and tiling
feastures.

Crisp.  Great smoke and steam.  Rather harsh lighting and intense colors.  Despite the smoke, the train seems to be completely stationary.

Nice job of modelling. Looks authentic. Smoke is very 
good. The fresh clean paint could be correct but looks 
unlikely. A little smoke stain would add realism.
