IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

The railroad glittered faintly in the midday sun and the air was filled with the
smell and sound of summer (or stench and noise if you like). Then suddenly like
a lightning right out of the blue sky (ok not THAT blue, but I can assure you
the metaphorical lightning would have striken from out of the blue parts of the
sky, OK?) she came. The steel beneath her trembling the air vibrating from the
power of her being - it is the infamous (well some people might now her - ok
it's completely made up and no one knows her really) DAMPFROSS ROSTINANTE (wich
means steam-horse rustynante named after the horse of Don Quixote 'Rosinante').
Look at her, what a beauty, how she hurls great clouds of steam in the air,
what a piece of old, really old technology.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

The Locomotive is almost completely made from cylinders (simple and differenced)
except the chimney, wich includes a cone, the lamp wich is made of a box, four
meshes, a sphere and a torus, and the big box in the back of the train. The
rivets are simple small spheres placed with a little macro.
The railroad was build from three boxes added by a macro together to create the
road.
The background-landscape is a heightfield (created from a simple b/w agate
texture) and the sky is a semi transparent sphere.
In this image I did not use a real atmosphere (wich made it render much faster)
as i usualy do but used normal ground-fog wich also is responsible for the
sky-color. The only part generated by using atmosphere media is the steam
coming out from the chimney.
