Great concept, I liked the shadow that impled someone thinking about playing with the toys but elements were overly simplied. More attention to detail and realism would have improved this image.

From tigerhawk@stic.net:
As a suggestion (take it with a grain of salt), moving the light source to the right of left would have skewed the shadow making the scene a little more dramatic. Area lights might have helepd soften the shadows too. I like the idea though so as a whole nicely done.

From a.martone@retepnet.it:
Some good ideas, but the image could be very interesting if it was:
- use arealight for main light source
- use radiosity to not to get excess contrast between shadowed and lighted areas
- use a lower contrast pattern for floor: not "white/black" but, for example, "grey50/grey70"; or, better, two granites
- add some finish/reflection on plastic objects
- don't use too much "ambient light" (the plastic objects, here, are "saturated")
- place simple objects in the shadowed area, and complex objects in the lighted area.

I think an area like would give better shadows, you could also have used just an image on a plane to do the boy.

From rgow@lanset.com:
Good concept, the shadow on the floor tells the story well, but the checkered floor detracts from the toys IMO.

Good idea, more work needed.

Nice, but the textures are not much painstaking.
