An ambitious attempt that wasn't entirely successful in
conveying your concept. Some lovely elements, but let
down by others.

At first I was confused at what was out of place until I read your text. I understand now but perhaps an extra hint or two could have helped.

Sounds very much like "...entering the long dark teatime of the soul" (Douglas Adams, Life, the Universe and Everything). Seems to call for much more than just artistic comments.

Nice modelling on the tablecloth and person/clothing. The curtain needs to look a bit more like it is hanging, it looks too solid, and the candles don't look right but flames are very difficult to do.

like the concept, but it is hard to get the feeling

I really like the interpretation of the theme but the image really is too dark, I can barely see what's in it.

Wonderful atmosphere, great textures. The wide expanse of wallpaper
seems a little out of place, and the food on the dish seems warped,
but that may just be the wide field of view.
