The minutes from the July 11 Teleconference were approved. Steve to place in Shadow directories. 2. The IESG approved publication of TCP Selective Acknowledgment Options as a Proposed Standard. Steve to send announcement. 3. The IESG approved publication of Support for Multicast over UNI 3.0/3.1 based ATM Networks as a Proposed Standard. Steve to send announcement. 4. The IESG approved publication of TCP Slow Start, Congestion Avoidance, Fast Retransmit, and Fast Recovery Algorithms as a Proposed Standard. Steve to send announcement. 5. The IESG approved publication of the two RMON Internet-Drafts: 1. Remote Network Monitoring ManagementInformation Base version 2 2. Remote Network Monitoring MIB Protocol Identifiers as Proposed Standards. Steve to send announcement. 6. It was noted that the number of documents being considered by the IESG are submitted without Security Consideration sections and/or author information (both required for RFC publication). In addition to reviewing the technical content, ADs were encouraged to also insure completeness before submitting to the IESG for consideration as an RFC document. 7. Revisions to the charter and milestones for the Poised WG were approved, along with the acronym change to poisson. The charter text was modified slightly to read: The standards process document produced by Poised95 left one issue unresolved: the categorization of documents. The working group will address and resolve this remaining item. 8. The IESG approved publication of PPP Stac LZS Compression Protocol as an Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement. 9. Fred volunteered to run the WG Chair Training session at the Memphis IETF meeting. He will "audit" the San Jose session being run by Harald. 10. Fred was (t)asked to write the Protocol Action text for IRTF Research Group Guidelines and Procedures , a candidate for BCP.
